Hi my name is Andy Wouda, I live on Thetis Island B.C. I like it very much here. I'm a cook at a little Bible School (Capernwray Harbour) where I feed all the students and some of the staff. I do all this because I love the Lord Jesus Christ, who Lives in me and longs to live through me (if you want to know more ask me) I have been wanting to start a blog for a while. I want to talk about food, and a few other things that might come up a long the way. I hope you enjoy all that you see and hope to see you soon. Oh if you want these are some more thoughts.

    No sheep left behind

Now all the tax-gatherers and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him. And both the Pharisees and the scribes {began} to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." And He told them this parable, saying, "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? "And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. "And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' "I tell you that in the same way, there will be {more} joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. (Luke 15:1-7)

I wanted to share with those who read this blog of mine, to be reminded that the Lord rejoices over those who seek him, and he longs to look for the one lost sheep, than to be with a bunch that are saved. I pray that he would continue to seek after me. I know that I'm not perfect and need him to continue to lead me in his ways. Oh Lord I pray that I would not be self righteous, but that I would let you rejoice over me again and again.

Hi Andy! You might not remember me, but I went to Cape. on Thetis Island 4 years ago (wow!! It didn't feel like it was that long ago.) This is Abbey bye the way. I'm now married to Jon Kehler (I'm sure you remember him haha). We have two beautiful children. Anyways, I saw your name in Sharon's blog and thought I'd say hi.

I have, so many times, asked -- probably begged -- the Lord not to give up on me. And He doesn't. His heart is so much larger than I admit or imagine, loving the found and the lost. Thanks for the reminder, friend.

I have always found comfort in this same parable. In Matthew 18:14 I find the word "willing" to be very powerful.

"In the same way your Father in heaven in not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."

I pray that I am open to His will and that others that are lost become surrounded by it in such a way that they can no longer ignore it.
